What is Cockroach Janta Party?
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is a satirical Indian merchandise brand built around the most resilient mascot we could find. Inspired by the absurdity of modern political theatre, CJP makes apparel, drinkware, accessories, stickers and prints that are loud, lazy and built to outlast every news cycle (and probably most governments). Every product is designed in India and printed on heavyweight garments and high-quality vinyl so the artwork survives as many washes — and scandals — as you do. The brand is openly satirical: nobody is actually canvassing for office and the only manifesto here is comfort. Where do you ship?
At the moment, the Cockroach Janta Party store ships to addresses across India only. All prices on the site are listed in Indian Rupees (₹ / INR), and checkout uses INR-based shipping rates plus GST where applicable. We do not currently ship internationally — we're focused on getting CJP merch into the hands of comrades from Kashmir to Kanyakumari first. If you're outside India and want a piece anyway, the best option today is to use a third-party India-to-international forwarding service and ship to their Indian warehouse. We're actively working on opening direct international shipping later this year; follow CJP on social to be notified the day it goes live.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery within India takes around 3–7 business days from the moment your payment is confirmed. Orders placed before 12 noon IST on a working day are typically dispatched the same day; orders placed after that window ship the next working day. Actual delivery time depends on the destination pincode — metro and Tier-1 cities usually receive in 3–4 days, while smaller towns and remote pincodes can take up to 7. You'll receive a confirmation email when the order is placed, and the latest status (paid, accepted, shipped, delivered) is always visible on your Account page. If a parcel hasn't arrived after 10 business days, reply to the order confirmation email and we'll chase the courier with you.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments on the Cockroach Janta Party store are processed securely through Razorpay, India's leading payment gateway, which means you can pay using almost any common Indian payment method. That includes credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express), UPI through any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and others), net banking from every major Indian bank and Razorpay-supported wallets. Your card and UPI details never touch our servers — they go directly to Razorpay's PCI-DSS-certified gateway and only a payment reference comes back. We do not currently offer Cash on Delivery (CoD). If a payment fails midway through checkout the order is cancelled automatically and any captured amount is refunded — no abandoned charges sit on your card.
What sizes do you offer?
Apparel on the Cockroach Janta Party store is available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL where the design supports it — each product page lists the exact sizes in stock for that item. Our t-shirts are cut as oversized / drop-shoulder unisex fits unless the listing says otherwise, so we recommend going one size down if you prefer a regular fit, or sticking to your true size for the relaxed streetwear look. Hoodies are mid-weight, unisex and run true-to-size. Each product page also carries a size chart with chest, length and sleeve measurements in inches and centimetres. If you're between sizes and unsure, reply to your order confirmation email and we'll happily recommend.
What is your return and refund policy?
If you'd like to cancel an order that hasn't shipped yet, reply to your order confirmation email and we'll cancel it free of cost — Razorpay refunds the full amount to your original payment method within 5–7 business days depending on your bank. If a refund is approved after shipping (defective product, wrong item shipped, transit damage), the same flow applies once the item has been returned and inspected. We do not currently accept returns for change of mind or wrong-size selection once the order has shipped, because most items are printed to order; please double-check size and design on the product page before placing the order. Damaged or defective items are always replaced or refunded at no cost — that's a promise.
How do I track my order?
Sign in to your account at the Cockroach Janta Party store and open the Account page — every order you've placed is listed there with its current status: paid, accepted, shipped, delivered or refunded. Each order also shows the line items, sizes, colours, totals and the shipping address you provided. Once an order has been dispatched, the status updates to 'shipped' and (where available) the courier's tracking number is included so you can follow the parcel directly on the courier's website. If you don't have an account, you checked out as a guest, or your order isn't showing — reply to your order confirmation email with the order number and we'll send you the latest status manually within one working day.
How do I contact support?
The fastest and most reliable way to reach the Cockroach Janta Party support team is to reply directly to your order confirmation email — that thread is monitored by an actual human and we typically respond within one working day, often much sooner. Please include your order number and a short description of what you need (cancellation, refund, exchange, size advice, courier issue, custom request) and we'll handle it from there. For pre-order questions — sizing, fabric specifications, restock dates, bulk discounts or campaign orders — message us through the same email address mentioned in your order confirmation. We don't offer phone support yet because written tickets give us a clean record so nothing gets lost in translation.
